DRUG INJURY ATTORNEYS

Carmen Scott began her legal career coordinating strategic efforts with national co-counsel in cases involving various pharmaceutical products. Committed to both representing and educating clients, she has lectured statewide on plaintiffs’ rights and the dangers of drugs such as Fen-Phen and has conducted community seminars on recognizing signs of nursing home abuse and neglect.

For the past five years, Scott has worked in securities, product liability, catastrophic personal injury, and business litigation cases for plaintiffs and defense clients. Aside from experience representing clients in jury trials, she has written and argued motions in South Carolina courts and elsewhere. Scott currently practices with the Motley Rice Medical practice group, utilizing her skills in mass tort litigation and her diverse legal background to represent clients in pharmaceutical drug and defective medical device litigation.

Scott is a member of the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, South Carolina Women Lawyers Association, and Charleston County Bar Association.
