Lynn Seithel practices with Motley Rice’s medical and transportation practice groups, representing victims harmed by dangerous pharmaceutical drugs and vehicle defects. Her thorough and thoughtful work ethic has facilitated the completion of numerous lawsuits, including several Ford rollover cases and countless Fen-Phen claims.
A member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1994 to 2000, Seithel served on the Judiciary, Ethics and Labor and Commerce Committees. In 1996, she authored the Healthcare Omnibus Act and was awarded the South Carolina Medical Association Legislator of the Year award. In 2000, she earned the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce Legislator of the Year award, and Governor Jim Hodges awarded her the Order of the Palmetto, the highest award a civilian can receive from the state of South Carolina for outstanding service or friends to the state.
